Why is it that the media and talking heads are so off the mark?

It is odd that they seem to believe in this delusional logic that Huckabee supporters like him primarily for his Christian faith, or that his popularity is only in the south. Remember Iowa? If you go to Mike's website and check the blogs, you will see clearly that his appeal swells far beyond the contained river borders of Christianity.

His support is appealing because he is the only consistently conservative candidate still in play on the Republican ticket.

A small ounce of research into Mitt’s backgrounds shows that Willard “Mitt” Romney is no more conservative than Hillary Clinton. His health care plan that he mandated in Massachusetts is so oppressive and costly that people are actually MOVING into surrounding states to escape the government “fines” that are imposed on you if you do not purchase health insurance. A recent article in The Boston Globe notes that the plan is on the verge of bankruptcy and may require a Fderal bailout. See more at: http://www.massresistance.org/romney

And any due diligence on the part of the average person brings you to the quick conclusion that McCain is a “closet Democrat.” Don’t you all remember how he considered switching to the Democratic Party after he lost his bid for the Whitehouse in 2000? Conservatives that have worked with McCain in the senate have publicly stated that he was the greatest obstacle to passing conservative bills and supporting conservative issues. And remember how he twice authored the McCain-Kennedy immigration bill with its Z Visas and path to citizenship for illegals.

The media just does not get it. It is bizarre how the media and political talking heads seem to believe that Mike Huckabee’s appeal is because Christians are a bunch of easily led sheep that are being brainwashed into helping “Mitt” be slaughtered. C’mon, give the Huckabee supporters more credit.

Could it be that his supporters like Mike because with a bit of due diligence research of their own they have come to see that Mike Huckabee is the ONLY authentic conservative left? Explain why else Duncan Hunter endorsed Mike and not the other supposed “conservative” candidates. Remember Ms. Ann Coulter originally endorsed Duncan Hunter? Could it be that upon researching Mike you find that he has the most governing experience? That he has had a consistent stance on pro-life issues with a record to back it up? That he improved his state in leaps and bounds during his time as Governor? And that as Dick Morris has said, “Mike Huckabee is a fiscal conservative.”

Mike Huckabee supporters are intelligent and discerning. They do not simply listen to the talking heads and the pro-McCain media for their information. They know that their vote can not be bought by a multi-millionaire, flip flopper who would have been forced to drop out long ago because his message was not resonating with the American people. And they know that their vote counts. They take their duty to vote seriously because they know that the person who We The People send to govern the Whitehouse will shape the future of our country beyond just 4-8 years. Remember the Supreme Courts appointments last a lifetime.
 

Could it be that Mike’s supporters are actually the most educated on the issues and that is why they gravitate toward him? Do your own research and you too may just find yourself wearing the popular conservative button on your coat lapel that says:

“I Like Mike.”
